1) Know your total cost

It’s important to be aware of the total costs involved in sending your items from our warehouse to your door. The main costs are the shipping charges to ship your goods to your home. Additional charges which may be applicable are duties/ taxes and other customs charges. Note: some countries (e.g. Australia) have a duty/tax free threshold, where anything with a value of under $1,000 is duty and tax free. We highly recommend you contact customs in your country to see if there will be any additional charges

2) Assisted Purchasing

We offer an assisted purchasing service to make buying from USA even easier. If you are looking to make a purchase from a USA website that doesn’t accept international credit cards or maybe you don’t have a Pay Pal account, you can use our assisted purchasing service to have the goods bought on your behalf. Simply fill out a request in your member dashboard under the assisted purchasing tab and we will get back to you with a total price.

3) Tracking your shipment

If you would like to know where your shipment is located at any given time we recommend you track your shipment using our track and trace feature. Simply enter your tracking number at our parcel tracking page. If you would like to track your shipment before it arrives at our warehouse, you need use the tracking number provided by the merchant to who you purchased your goods.

4) Know the chargeable weight

All international couriers, Ship2Anywhere USA included, make charges based on which is greater - the volumetric weight or the Actual weight. Volumetric weight is also known as dimensional weight and is used to measure how much space the items takes up on the plane.

5) Duties and taxes

All shipments are subject to duties and taxes in the receiving country. It is the responsibility of the receiver to pay these charges if applicable. Remember you can always call customs in the receiving country before you ship goods as they will be able to let you know if duties and taxes are applicable for your shipment. Note: some countries have a tax free threshold, e.g. when shipping goods to Australia you don’t need to pay any duties and taxes if the goods are valued under AUD $1,000.00, Please be aware that some countries may only tax items marked "commercial shipment" as opposed to private shipment.

6) Combine and save

If you are sending more than one shipment from our warehouse, we offer a consolidation service. This service combines all your smaller items into one shipment which allows you to save on shipping costs. Note: only small shipments can be combined.

7) Prohibited and restricted goods

Before you ship goods to our warehouse, it’s very important to familiarise yourself with the prohibited and restricted goods list. The prohibited and restricted goods list details what cannot be forwarded using our service. Note: there are many items which are illegal to send via a courier or postal service. For for this reason please, pay special attention to the prohibited and restricted goods list

8) Delivery time

We offer a number of delivery options including DHL Express and DHL Global Mail (Economy). DHL Express generally takes 2-5 business days and DHL Global Mail takes 7-14 days. Note: at this time we can only offer Global Mail to Australian customers, Global Mail is also restricted to items with a value of less than AUD $1,000.00

9) Receiving goods via UPS

If you are sending goods to our warehouse via USPS (United States Postal Service) you are legally required to complete a 1583 form (Application for Delivery of Mail through Agent), you will also need to provide a copy of a photo ID with your 1583 form. This form gives Ship2Anywhere USA permission to receive goods via USPS on your behalf.

10) Insurance

We offer insurance cover on all shipments that are shipped via our service. All shipments are automatically covered up to the value of $120 at no cost, with the option to upgrade insurance at a cost of 2.5% of the value of the goods. Note: we will not insure anything that is listed under restricted and prohibited item list.
